Floragraph Receives Grant from Consortium for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics

Sunnyvale CA, Aug 1st, 2018 – Floragraph, Inc. has been awarded the Catalyzing Pediatric Innovation Grant by the FDA-backed Southern California Consortium for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP). These award, for the project Infant Microbiome Monitoring at the Point of Need, will fund a one-year cycle of development for Floragraph’s on-location microbiome monitoring device.

CTIP was established in 2011 to encourage development and collaboration in pediatric device and technology development. Partnering with the FDA for grant support, CTIP assembles knowledgeable experts to accelerate the development of pediatric medical devices through their grant programs. The Southern California Consortium for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), based out of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, awards $165,000 in seed grants to accelerate projects specifically designed to improve the safety and delivery of care to infants and children.
